The Children raised $967 to support the Presbyterian schools in our partner presbyteries in DR Congo!

Children and Youth programs

Youth (6th – 12th grade)
Junior & Senior High students meet each Sunday morning from 9:30 – 10:30 AM in the 3rd floor youth suite.  They are lead in worship by Jennifer English, our Director of Youth Ministries.   Presently the youth are learning through a series called “Christ’s Colors,” exploring topics such as Sin (black), Christ’s Blood (red), Forgiveness (white), Baptism (blue), Christian Growth (green), and Eternal Life (gold).

Young Children (2 years – 5th grade)

Younger children are invited to Sunday school each week at 9:30 AM and are currently learning about the love of God through Jesus using the Live B.I.G. Curriculum.  This interactive study incorporates music, crafts, games, Bible stories, open discussion and other hands on activities.  Along with worship and prayer, this curriculum helps children incorporate what they learn in Sunday school into their everyday lives and is based on three B.I.G. truths: God is a great big god; God loves us with a great big love; and we are part of God’s great big world.

2nd – 5th graders meet on the 3rd floor, and are lead by Gail Parrish and Blake Pearson.

2 years old through 1st graders meet in the children’s suite on the ground floor.  4K through 1st graders are lead by Lydia Wilfong and Judy Wade, and those under 4k enjoy music and age appropriate crafts with our nursery staff.
 

Nursery

Members of our nursery staff are available in the children’s suite, ground floor, for the 8:30 AM and 11:00 AM services, as well as the 9:30 AM Sunday school hour.  All young children are invited to attend services with their parents, but after the children’s sermon, a member of our nursery staff will escort those 2nd grade and younger to the children’s/nursery suite.
 
Wednesday Evening Kids' Club

Wednesday nights are full of fun and activity for children in 3K through Senior High.  Beginning at 5:00 PM, the “Kids' Club” is busy working on upcoming plays, musicals & seasonal presentations.  They are currently studying themes in the bible through works of art which will culminate in an art show of their very own work!  Lead by Jennifer English (Dir. of Youth Ministries) & Kyle Henderson (Music Director), the kids also enjoy a time of fellowship having dinner together as a group at 5:45 PM.  Currently, the children's choir is responsible for Children's Sunday in October, a Christmas pageant in December, Lenten service, and a full musical at the end of the choir season in May. Last year's Let's Rock was the debut of our first "Big Kids' Musical," and it was an overwhelming success.

Childcare

Our nursery staff is available on Wednesday nights from 5:45 PM to 7:30 PM.

Each Sunday, child care is provided as well as 4 different children's and youth sunday school classes.
