PARTNER MINISTRIES

  • Greater Birmingham Ministries

    The mission of GBM is to serve God’s purpose of justice and peace by healing the wounds of the community and struggling in community to realize more just systems and more faithful relationships.

  • Fire House Ministries

    Fire House's mission is to provide to homeless men, ages 18 and older, in the Birmingham Area a nurturing and caring environment offering supportive services that break the cycle of homelessness and empower individuals to achieve their highest potential.

  • Habitat for Humanity

    Habitat for Humanity's mission is to put God's love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope. We have had numerous volunteers through the years to help Habitat construct homes for worthy families

  • Living River

    LIVING RIVER is a retreat center located on the Cahaba River whose mission is to share Christ-like hospitality,foster stewardship of creation, nourishes faith, for the transformation of the world.

  • Presbyterian Home for Children

    The Presbyterian Home for Children, located in Talladega, Alabama, has provided services to children in need since 1868. Originally founded as an orphanage, today it provides a wider range of services for children and their families.

  • Presbyterian Disaster Assistance

    Presbyterian Disaster Assistance provides disaster relief to regions that are negatively impacted. Their mission is provide hope in the midst of chaos.

  • Congo Partnership

    We are actively involved with our partner presbyteries, the Nganza and Tshibashi Presbyteries, in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. We assist in providing basic necessities, infrastructure development, education, and hope to impoverished communities in Congo.

  • December Bikes for Christmas

    Learn more about this year's successful Bikes for Christmas project. We are pleased to be donating 132 boys and girls bikes to Greater Birmingham Ministries for distribution to kids across Birmingham.
