"The gifts he gave were that some would be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ ..." Ephesians 4:11-12
"Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit, and there are varieties of services, but the same Lord; and there are varieties of activities, but it is the same God who activates all of them in everyone. To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good." 1 Corinthians 12:4-7
The Ministry Unit's purpose is to help disciples become ministers.
Through the Ministry Discovery Process each member of the congregation has the opportunity to:
a. Discover his or her S.H.A.P.E. for ministry. Your S.H.A.P.E. consists of gifts and abilities that you can use to serve.
b. Select and begin to serve in the ministsry of the church that best expresses his or her passion and ability.
c. Continue to grow spiritually and remain open to the guidance of God.
