Lenten Sermon Series: Listen

In our Lenten worship series, "Listen" we will quiet things down and heighten our attention to the "still, small" voice of God. We'll explore ancient practices of prayer and meditation on Scripture that help us discover how God speaks to us today.

Palm Sunday / March 25

Join us for worship at 8:30 & 11:00 as we celebrate Jesus' entry into Jerusalem. Our sermon will be "Finding Your Purpose". Jesus’ prayer life was described most often in Scriptures as something he did “away” from the crowds or disciples. This Sunday begins the story of the end of Jesus’ human life and the Scripture contains one of the rare examples of how Jesus prayed. It was honest and gut-wrenching, and it finally was a letting-go of expectations about life and a turn toward the acceptance that gives the courage to move onward.

Maundy Thursday / March 29

Dinner at 5:45pm and Worship at 6:30pm. Our Maundy Thursday service begins with holy communion as we remember Jesus' last meal with his disciples. We then hear the story of the Passion, shared through Scripture and music.

Good Friday / March 30

Join us as we commemorate the Crucifixion of Jesus. Look for more information coming soon!

Easter Sunday / April 1

8:30 & 11:00am Worship followed by 12:00pm Easter Lunch in fellowship hall. Join us as we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
